Want to know more about Flynn?

Flynn was adopted on January 1, 2024 by Dr. Kelsey and her husband James. He was just 5 months old. Knowing he had some big paws to fill, he jmped right into the white-collar life by joining Dr. Kelsey at the clinic.

Flynn is a Shiba Inu and weighs in at just 25 pounds. You may not see him all the time, but that’s because he finds his bed by the window to be the perfect napping spot. Shiba Inus are part of the spitz line of dogs, like Malamutes and Huskies, and they are known for their fox-like appearance. He is very independent and aloof and can sometimes appear standoffish. Don’t take it personally; Shiba Inus are nicknamed the “cats of the dog world” due to their personalities.

Like most Shibas, Flynn is head shy. If he does come out to greet you, he’d appreciate it if you let him come to you, or if you scratch his shoulders instead of reaching for his face.

Flynn is a proud to be a registered Emotional Support Animal with the ESA Registration of America.

How does he practice?

Grinning, curling his tail, looking foxy, and making sweet yawning noises while he demonstrates what a good stretch looks like.
