  • Vitamin C – Promotes various pathways of the immune system in it’s fight again bacteria, viruses, allergens, and pathogenic cells. Too much can cause loose stools and canker sores.
  • Vitamin D – Modulates the innate and adaptive immune responses. Deficiencies are associated with higher levels of autoimmunity and increased risk of infection. Too much can cause toxitiy issues.
  • Vitamin A – Promotes healthy mucous integrity and is considered anti-inflammatory due to its effects on the immune system. Too much can cause toxicity issues.
  • Zinc – A critical nutrient for the creation of neutrophils and natural killer cells (both very important parts of our immune system defenses).
  • NAC – A precursor to our most potent antioxidant, glutathione. Also relaxes the bronchial tree and breaks down mucous to enhance breathing.
  • Elderberry – Has been shown to decrease the ability of viruses to infect cells, but may also increase cytokine response (which can be bad at certain points in the COVID-19 infection).
  • Probiotics – Support a healthy gut microbiome, which is important since much of our immune system is housed in the gut.
